On Wednesday, August 14, students at Cincinnati Public Schools headed back to their schools for their first day of the 2024-2025 school year. Several schools celebrated the event as staff members, city officials and community members lined up at the schools’ entrances to welcome them back. Students from Woodward Career Technical School in Bond Hill were welcomed by members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
Also, Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge and officer J. Cunningham and Cincinnati School Superintendent Shauna Murphy were on hand to welcome the Bond Hill Academy students.
