The Taft Museum of Art since 1932 has been a public museum. Located at 316 Pike Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45202. Its Rembrandts, Turners, Italian majolica painted pottery, Chinese porcelains, and jewelry are a glimpse into a bygone era. All these treasures are inside a homelike setting.
The institution is named after Charles Phelps Taft, half-brother to President William Howard Taft, and his wife Anna Sinton Taft, who bequeathed their home and art collection to the city of Cincinnati.

The annual Gala was held on May 2, 2025, 7-11 pm for a fundraiser that supports the many educational programs the Taft Museum provides to the community, including:
- Art for All Outreach
- Artists Reaching Classrooms
- Family Funday

The entire evening was filled with fun, and I especially had an amazing time. Great cocktails, sparkling wine, white wine, rosé, red wine, and a chocolate martini bar.
Delicious food was provided by a catering company “Eat Well Cateringâ€. Strolling appetizers were delicious, lobster mac & cheese bites, endive with edible flowers, and fried chicken with a tropical dipping sauce. Veggie flatbread pizza, shrimp, and sliders. The Rosemary infused popcorn was my favorite snack of the evening. A black and white checkered dance floor with a live band, that rocked out plenty of terrific dance music. Everyone danced the night away, including yours truly.
The gift shop was open with an array of gift ideas and a wonderful selection of greeting cards, priced lower than most retail stores.
