The Bistro: Upscale Italian Dining
The Bistro features rustic, upscale Italian cuisine served in small and large plate portions for sharing. Menu includes antipasti, salads, brick-fired pizzas, pastas, entrées and desserts. Enjoy award-winning Gervasi wines, signature cocktails and premium spirits. Family-style Sunday brunch is served from 11am-2pm.
I love the chicken piccata with delicate angel hair pasta, tender chicken, garlic oil, and lemon caper cream. Also, the seared scallops with cauliflower puree, wild mushrooms, and tangy tomato jam. A kid’s menu is ready and able to satisfy even picky youngsters.
The Crush House Winery: Wine Bar & Eatery
The Crush House is a contemporary wine bar and eatery housed in a modern industrial style building with indoor and outdoor seating options. Stop in for lunch or dinner and enjoy a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas and select entrées. Visit the expansive bar for wine tastings, cocktails and craft beers. No Reservations-Walk in Only-Except on select holidays.
My favorite dishes are the toasted smoked turkey wrap. Eggplant meatballs are truly a must try and a vegetarian option on the menu. A kid’s menu is available, and curbside carry out.
The Piazza
Opening May 20; Reservations aren’t accepted.
Stop by the express bar and enjoy a limited menu of beverages and snacks. The express bar is located near the Marketplace. Only credit cards are accepted. The open-air seating is wonderful for conversation and a little flirting on date night. The GV lobster Roll with Calabrese aioli, celery, lemon, and slaw is delicious. Grilled chicken nachos with Manchego, chorizo cheese sauce, corn and black bean salsa. Plenty of shaded seating, photo opportunities of the lake with the beautiful swans. Live music weather permitting and take a casual stroll on the property. Check the Gervasi website to find itineraries for great live bands.
The Still House
Daily Breakfast Options available all day long. Quiche Lorraine and house made hazelnut chocolate brownies are a couple of my favorites. Fresh brewed coffee and other classic breakfast items on the menu. Lunch and dinner are also available beginning at 11am. A very relaxing environment and a nice meeting place to catch up with friends.
The Twisted Olive
Located at 5430 Massillon Rd, North Canton, 44720. Just a few miles from Gervasi Vineyard Resort & Spa. The Twisted Olive provides a modern, vibrant dining experience in a beautiful setting. The contemporary restaurant boasts indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks stunning landscapes. The menu includes classic Italian American fare. This is my favorite Gervasi restaurant, and the beautiful ponds are a part of the reason. Big lily pads with pink flowers cover one of the ponds. The other pond is a magical deep blue color that like a fairy tale.
The food is delicious
Twisted Olive’s panko breaded walleye caper-dill tartar sauce, lemon parmesan risotto, seasonal veggies is scrumptious. The walleye dish is only $30, and the warm berry cobbler is $9. Prices are in line with most classy sit-down restaurants in the state of Ohio.
Puff pastry wrapped meatloaf with barbecue sauce, mozzarella, roasted garlic red skin mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies. Big juicy fresh cut steaks with a bit of smokiness from the grill, prepared to order with perfectly paired side dishes is fabulous.
Warm berry cobbler is loaded with fresh berries and homemade cobbler style crust, with creamy vanilla ice cream. Lemon brulé cheesecake with cabernet marinated strawberries is delightful.
Monday through Friday 2-6pm is happy hour at The Twisted Olive, $5 off select bottles of wine, $2 off appetizers, $2 off select beers, $2 off select cocktails, $1 off a glass of wine.
This is a stunning multi-level restaurant with decks, patios, and a retail shop to purchase Gervasi’s wonderful products. Private dining available, kids’ menu, and gluten free options.
